Previewing the First Lady's Visit to Mexico
The First Lady's visit to Mexico this week marks her first solo official international visit. Mrs. Obama is visiting Mexico to reaffirm America's strong relationship with Mexico and the historic, close ties between its people. The First Lady will especially focus on engaging Mexico's young people. This will include visiting a primary and secondary school, delivering remarks at a Mexico City University and meeting with a group of young Mexican leaders. The trip to Mexico also marks the kick-off of her international platform that will focus on supporting the President's global engagement efforts by focusing on young people around the world.
