MLB 2010 Closer Rankings: Here’s Hoping You Didn’t Pay For Saves!
People drafted Jonathan Papelbon in the top-50 overall players but he isn't even one of the top 5 closers so far.
Remember how we told you to not pay for your closers?
Those of you silly enough to pay for saves might be kicking yourself at the moment. Jonathan Papelbon has some inflated numbers and studs like Jonathan Broxton and Francisco Rodriguez haven’t even recorded their first saves of the year. This is exactly why we tell you to hold off on saves and grab guys like Billy Wagner, Octovio Dotel and Carlos Marmol!
Make sure that if you only have two solid closers or you have three iffy ones, you keep checking out your league’s free agency for saves. Keep coming back to Fantasy Knuckleheads for all the big time breaking news concerning closers!
This year is particularly peculiar because after two weeks there is already great disarray in the ranks. Let’s check it out:
