AlessiTAB Video Shows off Android Home Hub

Everyone wants in on the tablet market, and that includes Italian kitchenware manufacturer Alessi who plan to bring their AlessiTAB to market in September of this year. The tablet, designed by Stefano Giovannoni, will feature social media applications such as Facebook and Twitter, function as a digital photoframe, and boast a 6-hour battery life.

The AlessiTAB comes with a docking station for displaying the tablet as a sort of central information hub to be placed in the kitchen, making it actually not too far a stretch from what Alessi is known for manufacturing. It will be priced at around 300 euros  (~$400). Check out the video below:
