Great news for you Rogers customers out there: the long-awaited Acer Liquid E looks to finally be on itws way. The phone is a distant cousin of the Acer A1, except it comes packed with a 768mhz Snapdragon processor, 3.5-inch WVGA screen, a 5-megapixel camera, and – perhaps most importantly – Android 2.1.
The fact that Rogers’ set-up instructions for Facebook on their Social View service on the Liquid E has shown up recently makes us confident that the phone might be available very soon. The last we pegged its release date at was Spring 2010, so this is right in tune. We’ll ping you guys when we hear anything about contract terms, pricing, and its availability.
