LG Ally Now Available for Pre-Order

The LG Ally is by no means the Droid Incredible, but it is a solid phone from a great handset manufacturer that is sure to catch some attention from those who may be looking for a lower-priced phone. Verizon doesn’t want you to miss your chance to own one, and just like we thought, the Ally is now available for pre-order. The pricing is $99.99 on a two-year contract.

Here is the info so you know exactly what you’ll get when this phone lands on May 2oth:

600MHz Qualcomm CPU
512MB ROM
256MB RAM
3.2″ touchscreen display
4-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard
Android 2.1

LG is also promising some augmented reality applications as well as their own set of “Socialite” social networking apps.
Not quite what we imagined back when this phone was thought to be the 1GHz Snapdragon LG Aloha, but a cool little phone that should sell nicely with the LG enV crowd.
