Bungie's last Halo game gets an official release date so the millions of fans of the series can start marking the days off of their calendar.
Halo:Reach is going to be Bungie's last Halo game before they hand off the reins to 343 Industries, Microsoft's internal studio. Halo:Reach is pretty much guaranteed a running in many people's GOTY list and if the recent multiplayer beta is any indication, it is going to sell a boatload of copies too. You would have to be an idiot to not think this release is going to be huge and we now know when that will be. Microsoft officially announced today in a press release that Halo:Reach will be hitting store shelves on September 14th exclusively for the Xbox 360. The recent multiplayer beta pulled in record numbers and come September it is going to set the bar for the whole holiday season.
