AT&T dude flashes exclusive HTC Android phone
The rumored HTC Liberty for AT&T.
AT&T’s first Android phone from HTC is coming soon and the leaked details are starting to mount. At first we were calling it the Aria, then others were referring to this device as the Liberty, while there is also the chance it might launch as the Intruder (my fav).
Early reports that this HTC phone will be a mid-range device are confirmed by its size. The AT&T HTC phone is said to run Android 2.1 with Sense UI, feature a HVGA display, and include a 5 megapixel camera. No details of the processor have been revealed, but it’s likely a 600 MHz Qualcomm (ARM11) like we have seen in recent mid-range phones from HTC.
If you want to catch a quick glimpse of the phone, check out AT&T’s latest YouTube video inside their device testing center. Dante Martin, Product Manager at AT&T for Android devices, provides a sneak peek of the HTC phone while showing off the testing process at AT&T labs.
Rumored specs of the HTC Aria include:
2.8 inch HVGA display (320 x 480)
Optical joystick
5 megapixel camera
microUSB port
3.5mm headphone jack
Android 2.1 with Sense UI
