Crush the Castle 2 is an addictive, destructive physics Time Waster

Crush the Castle 2 is really, really addictive. I don't even know why; I mean, the graphics are solid, and the soundtrack is very nice. But in the end, all you do is hurl rocks at castles and make them collapse, killing all sorts of royalty along the way.
I think it's because the game makes you feel good about yourself; I mean, it's really easy, but not too easy, at least for me. When you fire your trebuchet precisely enough to crash a “castle” in one go, you get a medal. Ahhh, medals are satisfying! Once you get a couple of medals, you get a weapons upgrade. Lather, rinse, repeat. Or is that, fire, crush, repeat?
The game makes it so easy to “cheat” that I'm not sure it even counts as cheating. If you don't destroy the castle on the first shot and you still want you bonus, just hit “Reset” and you can try again. It's basically like taking another shot, but the first one doesn't count. You can hit “Reset” as many times as you want.
The game has a narrative, too, as you can see by the screenshot. You play on a map, and you unlock regions (or “continents”). I got through the first continent in a few minutes (well, maybe more than just a few). The strongest ammo you get at the end is composed of three metal balls which simply knock the castle down. But once you get to the second continent things become more explosive.
Bottom line: Maybe I'm easily amused, but I like this game. It's no Coma but it's still loads of fun.
