HTC Ace to be the Desire HD? Rumored Specs Surface

Word is that Europe could be seeing an EVO-like device that so far has been known as the HTC Ace, but new rumors are suggesting the Ace could end up being the Desire HD, a phone that would take the hot as fire Desire brand and catapult it to a new level. Some rumored specs have surfaced about exactly how the Desire HD will be upgraded from the original, including a 4.3-inch screen, 8MP camera with 720p video recording, and 4GB of internal storage. The same 1GHz Snapdragon processor remains, but it would now be powering Android 2.2. Cosmetically the Desire HD would get an aluminum uni-body casing.

These specs are currently just word on paper rumors, but previous word from HTC big wigs suggests that a device much like the one described is almost a lock.
