Kinect Officially Priced And New SKU Announced

Microsoft has finally officially announced the final price of Kinect and it's no surprise to anyone.
Kinect was officially named back at E3 this year but a final price was nowhere to be seen. Many outlets and sites including Microsoft's own site set the price at $150 but Microsoft denied that the price was official. Today they finally stopped dragging their feet and confirmed that Kinect will in fact cost you $149.99. It will include Kinect Adventures along with the motion control camera. Microsoft believes that this was the best approach for their new peripheral. Iagree that Kinect should include a launch game. It worked for the Wii, so we will have to wait and see if this was a smart move or not.
Along with the price announcement, Microsoft has revealed a new SKU that will include 4GBof internal memory, built in Wi-Fi, and a black matte finish. It will look like the recently announced Xbox 360 Slim but will lose the sexy black gloss. It will be available August 3rd for $199.99 and will also come in a bundle with Kinect and Kinect Adventures this holiday for $299.99. The stand-alone Microsoft Kinect is going to be released on November 4th.
