Testament + Slayer + Megadeth = American Carnage

Sure, it’s been 20 years since the Clash of the Titans tour ripped, roared, and slammed its way through the U.S., but that doesn’t mean the spirit of old-school American thrash is something to be consigned to the proverbial dustbin of history — far from it! Now metal maniacs who didn’t have the opportunity to experience that legendary 1990 concert experience are finally getting a second chance; the original roster for the U.S. leg of the Clash of the Titans tour — Megadeth, Slayer, and Testament — is bringing the noise back with their American Carnage concerts.
Bay Area metal monsters Testament are particularly psyched to be reuniting with their old road buddies for this twice-in-a-lifetime event. Testament fretmeister Eric Peterson says “all three bands are just as heavy and lethal as ever, if not more,” adding “Old school thrash fans, if you missed the line-up before, you don’t want to miss this!” But don’t take our word for it, or even his — check out the sights and sounds of a little American Carnage Testament-style for yourself here. Testament fans should also know that VIP packages for the tour will include a wealth of goodies guaranteed to drive you Testamental (sorry), including a meet-and-greet with autographs and personal photo with the band, exclusive t-shirt, limited-edition poster, a set of Testament guitar picks, and more. The carnage will be taking place from now through early September, so this time you can’t say you weren’t warned!
