Bear in Heaven to Play ACL Fest, Pop Montreal and Dates with Crystal Castles

Since the release of Beast Rest Forth Mouth last year, Brooklyn outfit Bear in Heaven has been keeping busy. That album’s stellar mix of moody atmospheres and tightly wound fervor has been winning fans and making the band very much in-demand. They just finished a month-long U.S. tour in Cleveland Monday night and leave this week to start a European jaunt in Berlin that will last for all of August. For September, they will be back on the road in North America, playing several shows with Crystal Castles and performing at the Austin City Limits Festival and Pop Montreal. The band’s label, Hometapes, will be re-releasing Beast on September 14th, this time with an added second disc of remixes from such artists as Twin Shadow and High Places. (Fans can currently download The Field’s remix of “Ultimate Satisfaction” on Pitchfork.) Bear in Heaven’s tour dates are below.
