Black Mountain/Black Angels Tour

Two psyche-influenced bands with “Black” in their names; one American, the other Canadian; one classic/prog rock/metal inspired, the other dirty garage rock: the Black Mountains and Black Angels tour was meant to be. Both bands released their last full-length in 2008, In the Future and Directions to See a Ghost respectively.  Longtime fans  are ecstatic that both bands will be dropping long-awaited follow-ups on September 14th.  Two singles from the upcoming Black Mountain album, Wilderness Heart (we love these guys so much we’ll overlook that name), are already available for free via the band’s label Jagjaguwar. Likewise Spin has up the first single “Telephone” for the Black Angel’s newest, Phosphene Dream. Psyched!
