Fun Fun Fun Fest Announces 2010 Line-Up

Today the Fun Fun Fun Fest announced the complete line-up for its 2010 event. Now in its fifth year, the FFF Fest will take place across four stages from November 5 to 10 in Austin’s Waterloo Park. This year’s roster of artists is wildly diverse, ranging from the pop parody of “Weird Al” Yankovic to the Tropicalia of Os Mutantes and from the classic hip-hop of Slick Rick to the chillwave of Toro Y Moi. One thousand “early bird” passes are currently on sale at a 10% discount.
To those living outside of Austin, the “live music capital” may seem like one long music festival. The FFF Fest will come fast on the heels of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, which takes place October 8 to 10 in Zilker Park and which will feature such big names as The Eagles, The Flaming Lips, and M.I.A. And of course, then there’s South By Southwest 2011, which just opened its virtual doors for business for its 25th annual event to take place March 11 to 20. Registration is available for SXSW’s Music, Film and Interactive conventions, while bands can begin applying to perform at the music festival showcases.
