T.I. Busted for Weed
Last night, rapper and actor T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) and his wife Tameka Cottle were arrested for possession of marijuana. The hip-hop star was pulled over for a traffic violation, and when police officers thought they smelled cannabis odors emanating from the vehicle, a narcotics investigation ensued. T.I. was still on probation for federal weapons charges after he pled guilty to receiving three machine guns and two silencers in 2007. He and Cottle each posted $10,000 in bail and were released.
