Google launches Family Safety Center
Google — along with several partners — has just unveiled their new Family Safety Center. It's a collection of resources designed to help people better understand things like cyberbullying and abuse, malware, and controlling access to inappropriate/explicit content.
The site focuses on information like videos and tips from parents who work at Google — the only actual “tools” provided are links to Google's SafeSearch, SafeSearch Lock, and YouTube Safety Mode. All are definitely worth knowing about if you're a parent, but I'd also encourage you to check out two incredibly useful downloads Microsoft offers: Live Family Safety and Security Essentials. Both are free, and every bit as good (if not better) than similar programs you'd pay for.Google launches Family Safety Center
