New Year’s Eve: Surprise Me Mr. Davis in SF, Pretty Lights in Chicago

In case you missed it late yesterday, a bunch of New Year’s Eve announcements hit the internets that I think you’d all be quite psyched about. First up, the gang in Surprise Me Mr. Davis collectively announced a two-night run at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco featuring sets from SMMD, The Slip, Nathan Moore and Big Light over the two nights. I’ve seen this show before and I’d love to see it again, especially on a New Year’s Eve that’s spent walking distance from my place. Pretty soon after that we got an announcement that Pretty Lights will be doing NYE in Chicago at the Congress Theater with Major Lazer on 12/30 and Holy Fuck on 12/31.
Read on for the announcements from the bands. Anyone making solid plans yet?
