Yes, that Gang of Four (no Maoist politics, please) have a new album coming out that’s been cooking for three years, marking their first full-length release in 16 years. Content will be officially released by Yep Roc on January 25, but devoted fans can get a fix or two at the band’s Pledge Music page, where donations are rewarded with sneak peeks of the new album.
We’ve got a taste for you, too: “Never Pay For the Farm” attacks consumerism and materialism head-on with a super-danceable beat, which of course, mirrors what Gang of Four always did best.
