Reeder for iPad updated for iOS 4.2 with background syncing

Reeder, one of our must have apps for the iPad, has just received an update for iOS4.2. Finally, iPad users can take advantage of iOS4's multitasking capabilities, with Reeder able to complete its synchronization when running in the background. It's difficult to truly describe how useful this is going to be for users with large RSS lists, as it can take a good while to sync and cache all that content. To be able to do it in the background is certainly going to speed up our work flow in the mornings, if not yours.

Sharing via Facebook and Zootool has also been added into the mix, while several tweaks to user interaction have been made. Of course there's the obligatory list of bug fixes rolled in, including saving to Delicious using a Yahoo ID. As always this is a free update for existing users, but if you haven't tried Reeder for iPad and you're running the iOS4.2 GM, then now's the time to try one of the best RSS readers available.
