Oh hai!!! + Marco Benevento @ The Independent Tomorrow

Marco Benevento & Friends @ Trump Plaza, Atlantic City 10/30/10 Late-Night

Oh hai.
Yes, I know we have been super silent around these parts as of late but we will definitely be back in the new year (just in time for Phish’s return to the stage for their Holiday Run). Ahead of that, we’re all taking time off and enjoying life on the other side of the internet. In San Francisco, I’ve been lucky to take in some shows like Pretty Lights and Bonobo and I’m gearing up for the show I always mark the farthest ahead on the calendar — Marco Benevento Trio returns to the recently remodeled Indy tomorrow night. This is a must-see for me and something I’d highly suggest anyone in the near vicinity come out and support. Let’s sell this bitch out.

If you wants to partay tomorrow, then come hang with me and the @LiveMusicBlog crew at the Independent and make sure you stop back by the site at the end of the year when Phish returns. Yes, I know we write about Phish a lot and many of you have written in asking me to change the name to “Phish Music Blog” — which does have a particularly wonderful ring to it — but trust that we do plan on keeping this a bit more open with its content and we’ll be featuring plenty more music in the future that is not Phish related. Like Marco Benevento.

The show tomorrow has Gabby Lala as the opener, which is kind of hilarious. Get your tickets here or at the door and say hello if you recognize me in the beer line. I’m Oscar the Grouch in green in this photo…
See you guys soon. PEACE!
