Accessory Streams Video Wirelessly to Any HDMI TV

LAS VEGAS — Every family has this problem: You own multiple TVs, but only one PlayStation 3 or DVD player. You really want to watch a Blu-ray movie on the TV in your bedroom, but alas, the PS3 is sitting in the living room.
The obvious solution is to unplug the PS3, haul it to your bedroom, plug the cords back in and start watching. That’s kind of a pain though, and the MyWirelessTV gadget aims to eliminate this problem.
Manufactured by Actiontec, the MyWirelessTV accessory comes in two parts: a transmitter (pictured below) and a receiver (pictured above). You connect any HDMI device to the transmitter and you stick the receiver onto a television.
Push a button and boom — the video content streams to the TV containing the receiver.
Cavium, who developed the wireless technology inside the device, claims MyWirelessTV is capable of streaming HD video without losing quality.
No price tag yet, but Cavium estimates MyWirelessTV will cost around $300 (a tad too pricey, in my opinion) and ship in about six months.
