Apple releases iOS 4.3 Beta 2, says iPad gestures won't make final cut
A second beta version of Apple's iOS 4.3 was released to developers today, and there's a spot of bad news. Apple has informed developers that the cool new iPad multitouch gestures in these iOS 4.3 beta releases won't make it to the final version of iOS 4.3
According to Apple, in a message to developers, ”
This feature will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers, but we are providing this preview to gather input on how these gestures work with your apps.” The gestures should be back in a later version of iOS, but there's no official word yet.
Developers can grab iOS 4.3 Beta 2 from the iOS Dev Center.
