First Killzone 3 DLC Announced!

It’s finally here! Well, not yet, but it’s going to be. The second DLC for Killzone 3 has finally been unveiled, thanks to Geoff Keighley’s GTTV show. It’s called the Steel Rain map pack, and it’s going to invade your PS3 console soon.
According to the reveal, the map pack will bring you at least two more new 24-player maps. From junkyards to Stahl’s facility giving you many missions to fulfill, to special weapons and game modes, all these are going to be right in your the palm of your hands. Also promised are more exo-suits and jet packs.
Look at the insanely awesome pictures of the Steel Rain map pack after the jump.

So far, it all sounds great! Definitely, it’s awesome to see such prompt support for the game just a few days after its release. Guerrilla Games sure know their market well. They also know how to listen to their community that’s one thing for sure.
Just the other day, the devs immediately sent out a patch post-launch, dealing with gameplay and network issues, among many others. It was a comprehensive patch, too, so in case you haven’t picked it up for yourself, we suggest you do so that you can enjoy your game glitch-free.
The GTTV show footage was ridiculously short, but sweet. Sadly, it did not say when we can expect it to land, or for how much will it be. We’re also hoping to hear some more word about the features that will be specifically included in it. Not to worry, though. PS3Blog.net has your back, we’ll inform you as soon as we hear something.
UPDATE: Found a two minute long video of the new map junkyard and it seems there’s a lot more jet packs and exo-suits involved in this DLC map pack.
