Mozilla F1 adds bit.ly account support, improves security

After having just received a slimmer, vertical interface, the F1 sharing add-on for Firefox 4 has received another minor bump from the team at Mozilla Messaging. This time, F1 has added support for bit.ly accounts — enabling you to track statistics for your shares alongside your other bit.ly links.

F1 also now offers better security out-of-the-box by storing OAuth information in the browser. Autocomplete has also been improved, and Linux users should now be able to utilize the dropdowns in F1 — which is kind of important if you want to post to a group Facebook wall or send a direct message on Twitter.
