PlayStation Store Returning May 24th

Gamasutra is reporting that Sony has informed developers that the PlayStation Store will be back up for business on Tuesday, May 24th. If all goes as planned Sony will begin rolling out content that was originally set to release on April 26th, nearly a month ago. We can then expect May 3rd’s Store update ( which included the release of Seed Studios’ Under Siege ) to happen three days later. More update catch ups are set for May 31 and June 3. Sony has also told developers that they will move up the release schedule if need be.
“If there are concerns, we are willing to consider adjusting the release date of your content on this schedule,” says Osorno. “Adjustments will be made on a case by case basis.”
Once the PlayStation Store has returned gamers will be able to redeem the 2 free games from Sony’s ‘Welcome Back” campaign.
