[E3 2011] God of War: Origins HD Collection
We knew about this for a while since it was leaked from an Asian “soon to be released” list of games but it’s nice to have official confirmation. You’ll get Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta on a single Bluray disc with Dualshock 3 controls (two analogs sticks, just as you’ve liked it on the PS2-PS3 all this time!), trophies, 3D stereoscopic presentation (for your 3D stereoscopic displaying TV) and bonus content. No price has been set but a release of 9-13-11 has been set on a blood covered stone protected by titanium chains. Just to clarify, that’s September 13, 2011 for the international gamers visiting the site as, last time I checked, the year has still not grown a new and improved month.
I’ll be skipping them since I got Chains of Olympus on PSP for $10 and JUST bought Ghost of Sparta when it was 50% on the PSN store so, even if it has trophies, it’s still too early to play those on the big screen. Great for those that don’t own a PSP or that, for some reason, haven’t bought two of the best games the system has to offer.
