We’ve been waiting quite a while for this day, but it’s finally here: the LG Optimus 3D, the first autostereoscopic 3D handset from a major OEM, is now available. You may have to travel to South Korea if you want to buy one of your own right now, though, as carriers in other regions have yet to announce availability information. We know for sure that a majority of them in Europe will be carrying the device, with Europe getting official first dibs.Here in the States, AT&T will have the LG Thrill 4G. We first saw the Thrill 4G at CTIA in Orlando this part March, but there was no AT&T branding and it looked just like the Optimus 3D. We believe it was a last minute addition for AT&T at the show. Some even joked that AT&T asked an LG representative to make a device for them right on the show floor and rushed an Optimus 3D into their after-hours shindig. (They didn’t want to be left out of the 3D party that Sprint was throwing, apparently.) Fortunately, that likely isn’t true.We’re not exactly sure how AT&T’s version will look when it comes out, but rumors say it could be out before the end of July.
