Motorola Photon 4G now available for pre-order at Walmart; just $159.99

Are you looking to save $40 on that Motorola Photon 4G you’ve been eying since last month? Well, Walmart has your back. The retail giant is currently letting people pre-order Sprint’s Photon 4G for the relatively low price of $159.99 with a 2-year contract. You can expect Walmart to ship the device any day after the official launch date on July 31th.
In case you’re not sure if the Photon 4G is the ‘droid you’re looking for, you can read our comparison between Motorola’s phone and the HTC EVO 3D. Spoiler alert: They’re both awesome. You should also take a look at the spec sheet below. Maybe that’ll convince you:

Android 2.3 Gingerbread
1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor
1 GB of RAM
4.3-inch qHD display (540 x 960)
16GB of onboard memory (support for up to 32GB SD Card)
8 MP rear-facing camera / VGA front-facing camera
4G WiMAX capable

Finally, if you need more convincing, you can watch this video of the Motorola Photon 4G in all its CGI glory. If none of this convinces you to buy a Photon 4G, you have no soul. Or maybe your heart belongs to another superphone, like the HTC EVO 3D or the Samsung Galaxy S II.
