What is being worked on for PSN? Why, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken!
It is time for us to acknowledge the fact that gorgeous, 2D games are NOT the norm on the PSN store and never have been. That IS weird considering that the PS3 is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery capable of giving us great visuals at 60 fps for 3D games and if that power was to be used for a 2D game… well, one can only imagine the results. But fear not as Ratloop (think about it for a second) has heard our concerns and is hard at work on bringing us a bit of chicken to the table.
Hard. Boiled. Chicken.

How soon is now? Not soon and not now at all. Rocketbirds is set for a release at the end of 2011 OR it might slip into the weird parallel universe of 2012. Still, let’s keep this one on our radar as 2D, action and chicken are words that usually bring the best of the world and a bundle of joy into our lives.
