Tegra-Infused Samsung Galaxy R Announced for Asia and Europe

You have heard the rumors. You have seen the videos. You have known it as the Samsung Galaxy Z in Sweden. Now, the handset is coming to Europe and Asia. The Samsung Galaxy R and its NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor are official. The phone’s spec sheet reads like a watered down Galaxy S II with a 4.2-inch Super Clear LCD display, 5MP rear and 2MP front camera, and Android 2.3 draped in Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. Exact release details and pricing have been saved for a later date, but the Galaxy R will be hitting numerous regions in the coming weeks including the UK, China, and almost everywhere in between.
