Phandroid Is Headed To Barcelona, Spain for Mobile World Congress 2012!
Alright, guys. You may have noticed news has been a little skimpy ’round these parts the past 2 days but that’s because more than half our team is currently en route to Barcelona Spain to give you guys the inside scoop on Mobile World Congress 2012. We already have a pretty good idea of what to expect from our Android friends at HTC, LG, Samsung and the like, but we’re still expecting a few surprises as well.
Sony, HTC and others kick off Sunday with press conferences, and Samsung’s brewing up some kind of announcement for late Sunday/early Monday, so expect those. Of course, as I mentioned we’ll be live from the event with Kevin “The Beard” Krause, Quentyn “Yoga Pants” Kennemer, and Rob “OG” Jackson all reporting live from the event.
We’ll have our new weekend guys keeping you guys up to date and as for me, I’ll be holding my Android pillow tight, with a box of tissues (for my tears) wishing I was there to join in on all the festivities. Let us know what you’re most excited for and we’ll do our very best to cover it thoroughly.
